Rev. Valerie S. Pearson
is an author, speaker and motivator. In addition to preaching and teaching, she is a conference presenter conducting workshops and seminars for women and church leaders. She has authored the book and developed the program called “A Remarkable Woman”. This fresh and relevant ministry uses a unique blend of faith, scripture and practical principles to help women discover the “you” God created you to be. The ministry has touched the lives of many women. Women have been transformed from places of stagnation and uncertainty to a place of purpose, power and passion. Deborah Owens
is the money columnist for www.tdjakes.com and the financial spokesperson for the God's Leading Lady Tour organized by New York Times bestselling author Reverend T.D. Jakes. She is the money coach on Michelle Martin's newly launched NPR show "Rough Cuts," which targets 25- to 44-year-old listeners. Deborah is a 20-year veteran and former vice president of the financial services industry and is passionate about sharing information on achieving financial goals, through radio talk shows, speaking engagements, online columns, and books.

Kamal Sanders
is active in his community and church, where he is the youth pastor. In addition, he volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, as well as served as a Chaplin Intern at Mercy hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Kamal and his wife Sakia started a scholarship for Baltimore City Public School students.

Black Heritage Art Show will expand its offerings for 2010 by offering a Literary Cafe. The Cafe will be dedicated to authors and publishers to offer book signings. The Cafe will be located in a dedicated space of Exhibition Hall G. The space will host authors/publishers at the rate of $200 per table ( booth spaces available upon request). Our goal for the Literary Cafe is to attract a broad selection of authors, publishers, book clubs, libraries and individual readers from across the country.
