ArtSPACE > The Black Heritage Art Show turnsĀ 15!

Happy Birthday!
Entering our 15th year brings great joy and celebration to all that are involved in making the yearly show a success. This truly is a show produced by the community for community and while the country is enduring many obstacles, the BHA family is forging full force ahead. In this discussion I would like you to reflect on some of your most memorable moments at the Black Heritage Art Show. Maybe you watched your child perform on stage, showcased your work for the first time, or simply purchased your first piece of artwork, please share with us these occassions. If you have enjoyed the previous years, you are in for a treat with the presentation of O' Taste & See!: Art, Music and Lifestyle.
Thanks and see you all in February!

For Public Release;
I first met Glenda Boone during a phone conversation, while prospecting event specialists in the Mid Atlantic region. To my surprise Glenda, Cofounder of The Black Heritage Art show, (BHA) spoke with me personally and invited me to the next BHA festival held in Baltimore, Maryland. I decided to attend at her request, and, upon arriving I was totally shocked to see all the thousands of patrons eating, shopping and having fun with all the talented artists. This was a huge event and Glenda went out of her busy schedule to show me around the exhibits. She also introduced me to some of the exquisite artists. For that I'm grateful because I was able to meet a very talented silver smith craftsman who shared with me some of his life long tricks to creating beautiful jewelry. He and I became life long friends. Lastly Glenda saved the best for last, she introduced me to her husband Milton who is just as hospitable and kind as she is. Milton took his valuable time to share with me, some of the ins and outs of large event planning, event initialization, and, event management. He did not know me that long but treated me as if he new me all his life. They both showered me with warmth but expected nothing in return; imagine all this from one simple phone call. I sincerely encourage everyone to attend the next Black Heritage Art show.
